Chip Foam Block

The foam blocks are essential for safely storing spare chips for classic computers. They are made of conductive anti-static foam which protects the chip against ESD events during storage and handling in addition to protecting the pins against bending or breaking. Custom sizes are available upon request.

 

Items included:

1 x Foam block (around 40x20mm) for 8 to 20 pin chips (DIP-20 variant)

1 x Foam block (around 45x25mm) for 24 to 28 pin chips (DIP-28 variant)

1 x Foam block (around 130x45mm) large enough for e.g. 7 x 28-pin chips or 4 x 48-pin chips (DIP-64 variant)

 

No chips are included!

 

A (previously used) ESD shielding bag is included free of charge with every purchase, for the best possible protection of your precious computer chips.
